Why we built TaskBlue
A focus app should do more than keep you off the scroll. It should turn the time you spend concentrating into something that lasts. That is why TaskBlue is the first focus app where every minute of focus funds real marine protection.
The story
We saw two problems that connect: your attention vanishing in the endless scroll, and the ocean choking on plastic. We did not want to build another app fighting phone addiction. We wanted one that turns those very same minutes into real impact.
Today TaskBlue is a two-part product: an iOS app that makes distraction disappear without compromise, and a Focus Buoy, a physical NFC key 3D-printed in Berlin from plant-based PLA and packed by hand. The Focus Buoy is not an add-on, it is the key to the app. Both are held together by one simple promise: your focus time pulls real plastic from the sea.
Mission
Productivity with purpose, for 1 million iPhone users. Enough plastic brought back to land that the sea actually feels it.
