TaskBlue or Mobicip? A comparison for parents
Mobicip is a classic parental control app with web filtering, app limits, location and reports, and it covers a lot on the iPhone too. TaskBlue monitors nothing; it locks distracting apps at set times or places.

When Mobicip is the better fit
You want a strict web filter with an approved list, limits for every app and reports across several devices, including Mac and Chromebook.
When TaskBlue is the better fit
You don't need reports and simply want to give your child set times without distractions, set up directly on their iPhone, with nothing to monitor.
Frequently asked
Can my child ask Mobicip for more time?
Yes. When time runs out, your child taps “Request Grace Time” and you decide. TaskBlue has no such request: a focus session only ends early with the BlueTag, the 6-digit parent PIN or, if no PIN is set, one of three emergency exits.
Does TaskBlue show me my child's browsing history?
No. TaskBlue shows you no browsing history, no location and no messages. It only locks the apps, categories and websites you pick. If you want reports, Mobicip is the better fit.
How much does Mobicip cost?
There's a free basic plan for two devices. Paid plans on the website cost $2.99, $4.99 or $7.99 a month, billed yearly, for 5, 10 or 20 devices. There's a 30-day money-back guarantee.
