TaskBlue's work with WWF Germany, through which ghost nets and other plastic are recovered from the sea.

WWF Germany has been working against lost fishing nets in the Baltic Sea since 2013, finding, recovering and disposing of them. Since 2018 it has used sonar for this, and with GhostNetZero.AI an AI analyses the sonar data and flags spots where nets are likely to lie. Divers check these spots before the nets are lifted.
